Blue Lions

The Blue Lions club in Tervuren has officially taken possession of a substantial new sports complex incorporating hockey, tennis and padel facilities. The upgraded infrastructure, launched on April 1, includes a polyvalent artifical‑turf field designated for both hockey and tennis, three indoor padel courts, additional tennis courts, and modernised clubhouse and sanitary facilities. The expansion, valued at approximately €2.8 million, was partially financed through a municipal loan and marks a significant step in the club’s long‑term development strategy. The club now aims to grow its membership further by offering enhanced, year‑round sporting opportunities.  
The development reflects the Blue Lions’ continued progress since their founding in 2009 with just 45 players; the club now serves over 1,500 members across multiple disciplines.
