Backyard Baseball

The Backyard Baseball 13U travel team secured the USSSA Super NIT Spring Championship in a three-day tournament held last week in Glendale, Arizona. Riverbank middle schooler Isaac Castro shone on the mound, delivering a shutout performance against the Salt Lake Gulls in an 8–0 victory that helped propel the team to the title. The team, drawing players from communities across California’s Central Valley, celebrated the win following strong team cohesion and pitching depth. The club continues to build on regional success with promising performances from its young athletes.
