Welshpool Town

Welshpool Town has taken a strategic step forward by re-establishing its reserve team ahead of the 2025–26 campaign. The club revealed that Chris Roberts, a former standout player from the 1990s, will manage the newly formed side. The move is intended to create a stronger development pathway between youth and senior levels and facilitate player progression. Training is set to begin promptly, with sessions scheduled to commence at 7 pm on Tuesday at Maesydre. The club emphasised the reserve setup’s importance in bridging the gap in player development.
