Wainwright Curling Club

Wainwright Curling Club opened its 2025–26 season with structured registration nights scheduled for October 14 (6:00–7:30 p.m.) and October 15 (4:30–6:00 p.m.), drawing local curlers keen to join league play. The club, situated at 825 4th Avenue in Wainwright, Alberta, offers five sheets of professional-grade ice and is managed by Jamie Hodge, with Doug Dalton returning as ice maker. The Annual General Meeting held on October 22 featured food service and offered attendees a chance to win back their registration fee. The club also hosted “Learn to Curl” sessions on October 29 and 30, ahead of the launch of weekly leagues.
