Team Akkie

Team Akkie organized an open day in Ridderkerk on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, offering children and youth the opportunity to experience judo and karate in structured sessions held in a local gymnasium. The event featured age‑appropriate training: judo for ages five to eight from 15:00–16:00, judo for ages nine to fourteen from 16:00–17:00, followed by karate for ages seven to fourteen from 17:00–18:00. Trainer Akkie Muilwijk, a former regional and national coach with international experience, conducted the sessions. The initiative reflects Team Akkie’s commitment to introducing martial arts to young participants in their region.
