Line Drive Baseball Academy

Line Drive Baseball Academy is among the local organizations positioned within the thriving Shawnee baseball and softball community. On June 11, 2025, the CONNECT Camp at the Mid‑America Sports Complex in Shawnee hosted 365 softball prospects from classes of 2026 to 2030, who participated in individual workout sessions with Division I coaches from prestigious programs including Texas (Head Coach Mike White), UCLA, Duke, North Carolina, LSU, Tennessee, Oklahoma State, Kentucky, Notre Dame, Michigan, Northwestern, Indiana, Nebraska, Purdue, Utah, Georgia Tech, UCF, Missouri, Maryland, and Ohio State. The camp also featured real‑time performance metrics via Top Gun leaderboards and panel discussions with D1 coaching staff. This high‑caliber event underscores the region's growing influence in youth baseball and softball development, with Line Drive Baseball Academy deeply embedded in that environment.
