Emerald City Football Club (ECFC)

Emerald City Football Club (ECFC), a Seattle-based select soccer club founded in 1979, continues to maintain its longstanding presence in the region’s youth development landscape. The club operates as one of Seattle’s oldest year‑round, nonprofit soccer programs, competing in the Puget Sound Premier League under professional coaching and guided by volunteers. ECFC supports players from across Seattle and the Puget Sound area and is a recognized member of US Club Soccer. Amid Seattle’s vibrant soccer culture—marked recently by the 2025 Leagues Cup final hosted at Lumen Field and the city’s preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup—ECFC remains a key grassroots contributor to the local game.
