Pulaski River Turtles

The Pulaski River Turtles will celebrate baseball history in conjunction with Calfee Park’s 90th anniversary by temporarily rebranding as the Pulaski Counts during their July 29–30 home series against the Bluefield Ridge Runners. The throwback nod recalls the 1948 Appalachian League championship run by the Pulaski Counts, whose pennant-clinching games against Bluefield took place at Calfee Park. The promotional series includes special jerseys, a team-name revival, and proceeds from a jersey auction benefiting the Pulaski County Christmas Store. The team continues to play at historic Calfee Park in Pulaski, Virginia.
