Port Adelaide Football Club has revealed plans for a significant development project adjacent to Alberton Oval, named “Alberton Square.” The mixed‑use precinct will span approximately 20,000 m² and include residential apartments, health and wellness facilities, and commercial spaces, aimed at diversifying the club’s revenue streams and future‑proofing its operations over the long term. The club acquired 26 residential properties surrounding Alberton Oval as part of a multi‑year strategy to secure the site. Planning approval and community consultation phases are now underway. Alberton Oval remains central to the club’s football operations and will connect to the new precinct in design and function.
