Peoria Chiefs

The Peoria Chiefs' ballpark, Dozer Park, is entering the final phase of a comprehensive renovation scheduled for completion before the 2025 season. The upgrades include a new playing surface comprising fresh dirt, sod, and an upgraded irrigation system, as well as enhanced LED lighting, expanded safety netting, and upgraded clubhouse, training, and umpire facilities. These improvements, mandated by Major League Baseball standards, are valued at approximately $3–5 million and aim to modernize the venue for the High‑A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals. The team continues to prepare to host fans and prospects at the revitalized Dozer Park as the 2026 season approaches.
