LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL

The Manitowoc Lincoln High School men’s soccer team initiated a community engagement campaign, “Ships Sunk Hunger,” partnering with Manitowoc Cooperative Ministries to support free community meals at First Presbyterian Church. Between the fall season and winter break, players contributed through 90‑minute volunteer shifts over six weeks, assisting with meal preparation, serving, and cleanup. The initiative helped distribute approximately 1,000 meals to local individuals and families in need. The program is planned to continue and expand through at least the 2030‑2031 school year, with future service activities already mapped out by the team.
