Handball Club Toronto’s women’s team is preparing to compete at the Canadian Senior National Handball Championships, scheduled for May 22–24, 2026, in Edmonton. Under the guidance of coach Glen Panelay, the squad, comprising players of diverse nationalities, maintains a stable roster of 15 athletes, reflecting solid participation amid regional constraints. Panelay, who also serves as a player in the men's team, directs bi-weekly training sessions while navigating logistical challenges such as limited access to appropriate gymnasiums and improvised goals. The club continues to address obstacles inherent to the Toronto handball community as it readies for national-level competition.
