Judo Club CIV

The Goa Judo Association recently concluded the 2025–26 State Judo Championships, delivering competitive outcomes across multiple weight categories. In the Junior Men division, Pawn Patel (RCC Ponda) claimed gold in the Below 55 kg class, while Sido Murmu (RCC Panaji) triumphed in the Below 60 kg category. Rishu Yadav (SAI STC Ponda) dominated the Below 66 kg division, and Pruthviraj Herekar (Shri Bhumika Judo Sangh) earned the top spot in the Below 81 kg bracket. On the women's side, Sherin Varghese (Shri Bhumika Judo Sangh) led the Below 44 kg category; Trisha Kawat (SAI STC Peddem) prevailed in the Below 48 kg class; and Vidhya Jamadar (RCC Panaji) secured gold in the Below 52 kg section. While details specific to Judo Club CIV were not among the medalists, the club remains part of a strong regional judo community actively featured in state-level competition coverage.
