Raintree Baseball & Softball Academy remains strategically engaged in the Henrico–Richmond youth sports landscape following recent renovations of baseball and softball fields at Richmond Public High Schools. Flying Squirrels Charities, in partnership with Gilbane, completed upgrades to dugout fencing, roofs, benches, backstops and batting cages at Armstrong, Huguenot, John Marshall and Thomas Jefferson High Schools in early 2026, enhancing facilities used by area youth teams including those who train at Raintree Baseball & Softball Academy as part of the broader local player development ecosystem. These improvements arrived just in time for the 2026 season and underscore regional investment in youth baseball and softball infrastructure. The academy continues to benefit indirectly through strengthened local programs fostered by these enhancements.
