Minooka Little League

The district encompassing Minooka Little League is positioned to benefit from significant regional developments this summer. District 16-31 officials announced that the East Region Junior Little League Softball Championship will return to Luzerne County, set to begin July 23 at Nanticoke Little League, drawing teams from across 10 states to Northeastern Pennsylvania. Additionally, Jenkins Township Little League will host the Pennsylvania State Major Baseball Tournament from July 27 to August 2 — the first such event in the county in 40 years. These events mark a notable boost to local youth baseball and softball programming in the Minooka area.
