Central Coast Phillies Baseball

The Central Coast Phillies organization expanded its programming in July 2025 by announcing the launch of an 18-and-under showcase softball team for high school athletes. The initiative aims to support freshmen through seniors by providing exposure to college coaches at four Northern California tournaments. Former college pitcher Elise Foster will lead the team, with assistance from high school coaches from Paso Robles to Santa Maria. The program builds on the organization’s earlier success fielding softball teams for ages 9 to 13, which earned multiple top-two finishes in local and statewide tournaments. Tryouts were scheduled for August 2 at Liberty High School in Paso Robles.
