Sally Little League

The Atlanta Braves Foundation, in partnership with Truist Bank, supplied Sally Little League with new field equipment at Shirley B. Winston Park on May 3, 2024. The donations included portable pitching mounds, L‑screens, and batting mats, aimed at bolstering both baseball and softball programs. Volunteers also contributed by laying pine straw and painting the concession stand. League president Chris Smith described the arrival of equipment as profoundly impactful, while coach Brianna Culpepper noted that the gear enhances competitive readiness. Columbia City District 4 Councilwoman Toyia Tucker emphasized the positive community embrace surrounding the league’s youth athletes. The support represents a renewed foundation for Sally Little League’s upcoming season.
