The Altoona Baseball League, represented by the Altoona AAABA, has established a new interleague partnership with the Johnstown Collegiate Baseball League for the 2026 season. This marks the first interleague play between the Altoona and Johnstown amateur baseball organizations in 12 years. The agreement will feature Altaona’s four teams—Cumming Motors, Cogan Electric, Imler’s Poultry and a sponsored-named team—in a schedule that includes two games each against the four Johnstown teams, amounting to 20 regular-season games per Altoona team and 26 for Johnstown participants. The collaboration is expected to strengthen local baseball opportunities and league stability in Blair County. The league playoffs will determine each region’s representatives for the national tournament beginning August 3, 2026.
