The club ZCNF’34 is participating in municipal planning for the development of a new, sustainable aquatic sports facility at De Boekhorst in Oosterwolde. ZCNF’34 has emphasized the importance of keeping swimming activities ongoing during construction and supports “mirror construction”, whereby the new pool is built adjacent to the existing one to minimize disruption during the build phase. The club continues to leverage its input at upcoming council meetings, most notably on January 27, when its representatives will again speak during a public hearing of the municipal council. This reflects ZCNF’34’s proactive involvement in securing continuity for its membership while supporting modern infrastructure plans in the region.
