UCF secured its inaugural Sun Belt Conference men’s soccer tournament crown with a 3–1 victory over Marshall in Huntington, West Virginia. The No. 5–seeded Knights benefited from Frederic Benedix’s opening goal and a brace from Newcomer of the Year Lilian Ricol to assert control by the second half. Marshall responded with a goal from Carl Romberg, but UCF maintained composure to clinch their first Sun Belt title and the conference’s automatic NCAA Tournament berth. The Sun Belt Conference thus crowns a new champion, as UCF moves forward in the postseason.
