The UCF men’s soccer team secured its first Sun Belt Conference tournament title on November 16, 2025, with a 3–1 victory over Marshall in the championship match. The Knights, seeded fifth, earned an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. Sun Belt Newcomer of the Year Lilian Ricol delivered a standout performance, scoring twice in the final. The tournament win follows UCF’s dramatic 3–2 double-overtime comeback against Georgia Southern in the quarterfinals and its advancement past Kentucky in the semifinals. The finished season also saw Kentucky claim the regular season title in the Sun Belt Conference men’s soccer standings.
