The Southern Ohio Kendo Association will stage a Student and Open Tournament alongside rank testing (shinsa) at Waller Gymnasium on the Shawnee State University campus in Portsmouth, with event dates set for March 15 and March 28. [1][3]

The meet features intercollegiate and open divisions, and entry is open to both students and non‑students, inviting kendoka from around the region to step onto the shiai‑jo. [1][3][6]
