Taffy Baseball Club

The Stratford community has benefitted from an innovative partnership as the Stratford Baseball & Softball program, under the name Taffy Baseball Club, sees relevance amid regional developments. A new Stratford/Notre Dame‑West Haven softball co‑op saved Stratford’s season by combining 14 Stratford and four NDWH players into one roster, now standing at 6‑2 to start the campaign. The dual‑identification uniforms display either “Stratford” or “NDWH” across the front in identical design and colors, balancing individual identity and team unity. The co‑op received approval from the CIAC and has fostered seamless chemistry among players and families. The club’s success reflects creative solutions sustaining baseball and softball in Stratford. The club, known locally as Taffy Baseball Club, is poised to benefit from shared momentum.
