The Floyd County Commission approved the renewal, transferring stadium upkeep and security responsibilities to the team under the new agreement. The club, which adopted the Emperors moniker in 2023 after being known as the Rome Braves, will now operate with updated contract terms to streamline facility operations and reduce county staffing demands.
