The Rome Baseball League’s affiliated club, the Rome Emperors, recorded a standout performance as centre fielder Eric Hartman belted three home runs in a commanding 15–6 win over the Greensboro Grasshoppers on April 22, 2026. The 19‑year‑old accounted for all three homers—striking in the first, third and ninth innings—and finished with five hits, five RBIs, two singles, a walk and four runs scored. Hartman now leads the South Atlantic League with six home runs in just 14 games, surpassing his total of five over his entire 2025 season.
