Negotiations between the City of Reno and the Reno Aces Baseball Club have culminated in a new agreement extending the team’s non‑relocation commitment by 23 years. The revised terms include transfer of Greater Nevada Field ownership to the Aces’ ownership group headed by Herb Simon, alongside plans for a $40 million investment in the ballpark area, half of which will be deployed over the next five years. The agreement secures the team’s future in northern Nevada and anticipates enhanced facility development to support fans and operations.
