Oahe Zap Baseball has unveiled its 2026 Independence League schedule, marking a shift in league composition and highlighting renewed rivalries. The team will host the season opener at Hyde Stadium during Memorial Day weekend, facing the Casper Spuds on Friday, May 22; Saturday, May 23; and Sunday, May 24, with evening starts at 6:05 PM on the first two days and 5:05 PM on Sunday. The Independence League has contracted this season, reducing the number of participating championship contenders. The Zap’s competition will include Spearfish Sasquatch, Bison Baseball, and the Capital City Aviators, while former opponents Hastings Sodbusters and Fremont Moo will no longer be in the league.
