BÅTSPORTKLUBBEN SØR finds its community aligned with a growing national trend as Norway’s motorsport landscape evolves. The Norwegian Automobilesport Federation recently expanded its “Arrive & Drive” electric karting initiative—originally piloted in 2025—to include older youths up to 16 years and introduce a new “pro” level for experienced juniors. The programme, supported by FIA’s Motor Sport Funding Programme, promotes sustainable, grassroots participation across tracks including Varna, Rudskogen and Trøgstad. The club’s engagement with local motorsport now resonates with this broader national infrastructure expansion in electric motorsport development in Norway.
