MNK Osijek achieved a notable milestone by eliminating Futsal Dinamo, the reigning two-time Croatian champions, in the semi-final series and securing their first-ever appearance in the national futsal championship final. The team clinched the series 3–1, sealing victory in the decisive match with a 4–2 win, courtesy of a late goal by Hozjan in the closing seconds. Osijek will now face Novo Vrijeme from Makarska in the final. The match marked a historic moment for the club as it had never before reached this stage of the competition.
