The initiative will highlight milestones such as early Negro League barnstorming games, the All‑American Girls Professional Baseball League, and Derek Jeter signing his first Yankees contract at C.O. Brown Stadium. The team’s owner and local baseball leaders view the partnership as a means to preserve regional baseball history and engage future generations during the 2026 season.
