The Macon Bacon have been named the 2025 Coastal Plain League Organization of the Year, recognizing the team’s achievements both on and off the field. The award highlights exceptional performance in game-day operations, fan experience, community involvement, and attendance, which averaged 2,475 fans per game attesting to a record-setting season. The organization surpassed $650,000 in donations to local charities and nonprofits and bolstered community impact through new partnerships with groups such as Sleep in Heavenly Peace and Healing 4 Heroes. The team also hosted the CPL All‑Star Game, further elevating its profile within the league.
