The Lynchburg Hillcats have officially rebranded as the Hill City Howlers ahead of the 2026 Carolina League season. The Single‑A affiliate of the Cleveland Guardians will retain its affiliation and home at Lynchburg’s City Stadium, now known as Bank of the James Stadium, despite the name change.
