Leah Garby powered the Manalapan softball squad with both pitching and offensive contributions in the season opener against St. Rose. Representing Multi‑Sports Kingdom through association with local youth athletics, Garby delivered eight strikeouts over seven innings, added three RBIs and scored twice, including a solo home run, guiding the team to a 5‑3 victory. St. Rose’s Morgan McGee also hit a home run and tallied three RBIs, but Manalapan responded with scoring in the third, fifth, and seventh innings to secure the win.
