Hockey Ballarat has resumed activity on a fully refurbished synthetic surface at Prince of Wales Park, with the $2.04 million replacement of over 6,000 m² of turf now complete. The redevelopment, which included enhanced sub‑base stabilization, a shock pad and new playing surface, signals a significant improvement in local infrastructure. Design work is underway to refurbish and extend changeroom facilities to support equitable use for male and female participants, aligned with the City of Ballarat’s Active Women and Girls Strategy. The club anticipates construction beginning in late 2025 to ensure minimal disruption to the 2025 season.
