Town of Hempstead has approved site improvements at East Meadow High School, including replacement of the existing baseball field surface with synthetic turf. The project also includes installation of a multipurpose outfield, new fencing and dugouts, updated scoreboard, batting and bullpen areas, concrete walkways, field lighting, and removal of west-side shrubs along the field perimeter. The upgrades reflect a modernization effort to improve safety, functionality, and usability of the baseball field for school and community use.
