Chicago Inter Soccer Club has announced its expansion into United Women’s Soccer (UWS) for the 2026 season. The club, already competing in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) in the Midwest, will now field a team in the UWS Midwest Conference, offering elite female players a direct pathway into a pre‑professional summer league. Technical Director Sena Halilovic commented that joining UWS marks a significant milestone for the program. UWS Commissioner Joe Ferrara welcomed the club, noting its strong commitment to player development and its positive impact on women’s soccer in the region. Chicago Inter’s inaugural UWS campaign will kick off in summer 2026, with further details to follow.
