Ironbridge Baseball Academy North

Construction at The Diamonds at Ironbridge baseball and softball complex in Chesterfield County has entered its final phase as of January 2026. A new stadium field is under development at Harry G. Daniel Park, featuring 272 covered seats, a press box, and a 30,000‑square‑foot concrete plaza adjoining restrooms, storage, and umpire facilities. This enhancement positions the venue to host district, state, regional, and potentially national championship tournaments, including the 2027 USA Softball National Championship and the Special Olympics National Championship. The work builds upon earlier renovations of six existing fields, bringing the entire Ironbridge complex closer to fully tournament‑quality standards. The project underscores ongoing investments in youth baseball and softball infrastructure in the Richmond area.
