Mayhem Baseball Club

The 10u Mayhem Bad Boys travel baseball team, representing the Covington area in Newton County, captured the USSSA World Series crown in Gulfport, Mississippi, in just its second season, under the leadership of Newton Rams coach Andre Byrd. The squad, composed of local elementary school players, secured the championship following a successful tournament run, reflecting rapid program development and community support. Byrd acknowledged the significant effort by team parents to organize and certify the team for competition, highlighting a collaborative foundation behind the club’s early success. The victory marks a notable milestone for Mayhem Baseball Club in the U.S. Youth travel circuit.
