Mayhem Baseball Club

The Mayhem Baseball Club’s 10u Mayhem Bad Boys team, led by Newton Rams coach Andre Byrd, secured the USSSA World Series crown in Gulfport, Mississippi, in just its second season of play. The team, comprised of elementary school players from Newton County, benefited from the organizational efforts of team parents David York and Tinsley Bailey in obtaining certification. Byrd highlighted the talent emerging from the area and credited the parents for laying the groundwork for the championship team’s success. Mayhem Baseball Club continues to exemplify rapid competitive growth.
